| A reporter working for the San Francisco Times. She tries writing a story of Julian and ends up becoming involved with him, causing him to nearly break the Masquerade. Julian buys the newspaper and makes her chief editor in order to have control over the stories that are printed about Kindred. |

| A cop who wants to prove Julian is a mob boss. He falls for Alexandra and finds out about the Kindred and the Masquerade from her. His life is protected by Julian, even though he knows about the Kindred and seeks to expose them in order to avenge Alexandra's death. He has very little credibility with the other police due to his insistence that vampires are real and walk among us. In the beginning of the show Frank is determined to get Julian Luna behind bars, yet during the course of the series both of them work together more and more often to protect their own kind. |

| Julian's mortal great-great grandchild. She arrives for her grandfather's funeral and ends up staying with Julian. She becomes involved with Cash against Julian's wishes, and is used as a pawn by the Brujah to hurt Julian. She is very hot-tempered and disrespectful of authority and was forcefully embraced by the Brujah. |
